Wednesday Vignette, Agave WiFi Zone

So let me get this straight...if you can find a blooming Agave then you're guaranteed a WiFi connection? Is that what this sign is telling us? Their flowers somehow pulse out an internet connection?

Haha, that's what it looked like to me! For those of you who haven't spent time at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ, that blooming Agave is their logo. Actual WiFi "hotspot" may or may not be next to a real blooming Agave...as they seem somewhat mysteriously placed throughout the garden.

Wednesday Vignettes are hosted by Anna at Flutter & Hum. All material © 2009-2016 by Loree Bohl for danger garden. Unauthorized reproduction prohibited and just plain rude.

  1. Thanks for translating. The more agaves, the better the reception so more of them should be planted!

    1. I wish Century Link believed in your logic. If so my wifi signal would be MUCH stronger.

  2. Great logo but the placement does seem a bit quirky. Still it would not surprise me to learn that this is one more great thing about Agaves.

  3. That's pretty cute. If only a blooming agave DID mean free WiFi!

  4. Haha - I think you need a more galactic take on this... Agaves emitting signals totally confirm my suspicion that Agaves are extraterrestrial plants, planted here by aliens. ;) http://www.educatinghumanity.com/2016/05/famous-ufo-cases-arizona.html
