Wednesday Vignette, pop up cactus stand

After seeing this photo on Instagram I drove out to the location of the pop-up cactus stand so I could take my own photo and support the owner with praise and some cash. Unfortunately the day I drive by there were no cactus, only free squash.

    How cool is that? Squash forbidden? What a shame. I have a great recipe for making zucchini pickles, so yummy.

      Zucchini pickles!? Yes, that does sound yummy. Andrew had to eat one too many squash when he was a kid, and now I'm paying the price.

    Pretty darn cute! Now you have me wondering if I could get rid of my surplus supply of plastic pots by sticking seedlings in them and positioning them next to the driveway with a "free" sign. The lemons always disappear...

      Ya, unfortunately Andrew had to eat one too many squash when he was a kid, he thinks now that he's an adult he should get to say no.
