This is the 100th danger garden post! And I was worried I wouldn’t have anything to say after a couple of weeks! Thank you all for visiting, commenting and sharing your knowledge, experience and passion. Thank you for your compliments and encouragement.
I was explaining to someone the other day why I enjoy the blogosphere. For me it’s like getting to read all these great mini-magazines everyday. I love receiving each issue of Garden Design, Horticulture or Fine Gardening and pouring over every article and picture. Like a good magazine, a good garden blog is full of a wide range of topics and pictures, and they are all so highly personalized, I love it! Thank you for the energy, effort and creativity that you each put into your own blogs, I have learned so much from you.
The photo at top is the single blossom my passion flower vine has produced this year. Hopefully there will be more, but since I thought I had lost it last winter I am happy to even get the one. The first time I saw these flowers I was just sure they were fake. How could nature produce such an odd combination!
I’d have ya’ll over for drinks on the patio to mark the occasion (#100 and the passion flower), if that was possible. Instead I promise to raise a mojito, or a glass of wine (or both) over the weekend as a toast to you, my blog friends…cheers!
