Wednesday Vignette: #lifegoals

Search the hashtag #lifegoals on Instagram and you'll find all sorts of odd, disturbing, inspiring, hilarious, terrifying images. Yet for some reason I couldn't help but see that hashtag superimposed over this image as I watched him float by...

My new life goal is to float down a peaceful river in a giant pink flamingo...

Why not?

In case you're wondering how I happened to be there, watching a giant pink flamingo float by, that's Andrew, in the Sandy River, fishing. He can fish, I can float...seems like a marriage made in heaven doesn't it?

  1. To me, that's a great way to spend a day. I think I need one of those flamingos. Or some other mode of flotation, plus goggles so I could watch life go by in the wetter environment below, as I drift around. Awfully tired of observing the crushing madness going on up here - it would be a nice contrast.

    1. I've been out and about in our waterways quite a bit this year, thanks to Andrew. It's such a nice change of pace, well most of the time. A few times there have been so many other people around that I want to just hide in the car.

    1. I think it's just for floating, but you could certainly take along a paddle.
