These super stylish signs are at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell, Washington.
The plant behind this sign is a Colletia, with sharp spines, so many spines!
More photos from this garden tomorrow...and there will be even more spines and spikes!

A new meme: WWWP. I'm always amazed at what people are capable of.
ReplyDeleteI'm picturing a Facebook group, so everyone can share their stories of WWWP, then again it could get awfully depressing.
Deleteyes, too depressing.
DeleteIndeed - it's something I wonder about every freaking day! I think our minds were aligned today. Sheesh... I have not yet visited this garden, but would love to see it some time. Will try to catch your post on it.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great garden, I hope you do see my posts.
DeleteI've been enamored with Colletia paradoxa for some time. It's hard to find here. The one plant I saw in a garden center cost both an arm and a leg (figuratively speaking).
ReplyDeleteI would love to try it in my garden too...but haven't seen it at any of our nurseries.
DeleteSounds very Danger-ous!
