I cheat with this photo, as it wasn't taken last year. However I love how it illustrates summer in the garden. All that is good in my world. Sigh...come back soon summer!

Oh, the colors in that Aloe! And the teeth on the Agave next to it make it look almost like a cartoon. What a perfect summer shot.
ReplyDeleteThat Agave was so cool, I miss it (its absence was my clue this is an older photo). The mealybugs went to town on it last winter.
DeleteThe plants complement one another wonderfully. I hope your winter woes wane in the new year and you get lots of sunny days. If not, pay us another visit down in the land of no-rain - today's high is expected to reach 80F (!), although the smog is so bad the harbor is hardly visible.
ReplyDeleteThere is sun in the forecast! Unfortunately as is the case here sun means east wind and frigid nights.
DeleteA beautiful combination, Loree. With the extreme winter weather, I've been thinking of warmer temps, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Eliza! I have to admit I don't know exactly where you live, but the photos on your blog certainly convey cold...
DeleteThis photo looks so warm.
ReplyDeleteGlad that came through on the screen.
DeleteI am so ready for winter to be over and to see beautiful plants like yours
ReplyDeletePeter's ready with the official count!
DeleteSummer's only 174 days away. Too many days! Superb plant combination.
ReplyDeleteI can make due with spring, I suppose.
DeleteNow it's only 173 days...
ReplyDelete*sigh*....
