It's Vignette week! Day four: autumn

My autumn photo for Vignette Week is from the Kuzma garden, taken last September when my friends Mark and Gaz from England, as well as Gerhard from California were visiting. Friends and garden visits. Here's to more of both in 2018!

    So glad to hear your ice is gone! We had warmer temps the last couple of days too, and rain, so all our snow is now gone as well.

    1 request - Will you please show more of that Jubaea Chilensis in your post. That garden is absolutely amazing and the placement of that palm is really going to be a marvel unto itself.

    Yay, you got a melt! I love the warm colors of the Anigozanthos. It makes me wonder if my plants will come back this year - they want a surprisingly amount of water and our rain is still a no-show.

      I can't wrap my head around your lack of rain. It's just nearly impossible for me (living in Portland) to understand. Fingers crossed that will change in the New Year.

    I envy anyone who can grow kangaroo paw. I only knew of the red-flower variety. This golden yellow is just lovely, petty perfect for autumn.

    This one doesn't hit me as strongly as the previous two, probably because this is too recent. Or maybe it suggests cooler weather and I want the warmth back! :)

    Love that combination of cool and warm colors! And, of course, the kangaroo paws. Wish I could grow them. If I try again, I'll have to keep wire around them...
