Wednesday Vignette, silver and blue (a little green too)

Often memory enhances an image, making it better than it really was. Knowing that, I was quite pleased to come across this photo, taken at the Smithsonian Gardens in DC, and find it just as gorgeous as I remembered. You'll see it in context in this Friday's post, but for today I thought the close up made a lovely vignette...

  5. This is why I adore dichondra, it's outstanding when paired with blues. I also just realized that the round leaves trailing against the diamond shape of the glass tiles makes this combo even more special!

  8. I think I know this place. If I'm correct, the patterning was beautiful outside of your vignette, as well. Lovely capture!
