Blogging is part of our history at plantlust.com, if not for our respective blogs we never would have met back in 2009 and now, finally, we’re all blogging together. Those of you who miss Megan’s fabulous blog, Nestmaker, will be thrilled to know she’s back online. Patricia, a bit of a new comer to the blogging world, has got a lot to say about plants, and gardening, and won’t hold back. Of course you already know me. We’ll be posting three times a week, and we hope you’ll join us and be part of the conversation at plant lust the blog...

Announcing plant lust, the blog!
It was inevitable really. When you get three plant-crazy people like myself and my business partners, Megan and Patricia, together we aren't going to be happy keeping the plant talk to ourselves. We've got to share the passion and get others excited about the possibilities, thus we've started a blog.

Hooray! Looking forward to reading plant lust blog posts.
ReplyDeleteFabulous !
ReplyDeleteGreat news and it's about time! Another fantastic blog to follow :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Loree! FYI, I tried leaving a message 2x on the new site but got a "page not found" message in both cases.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris, we'll get right on that. Seems like there's always a bug or three with any new launch!
DeleteSame problem.
DeleteYeah!!! I'll head on over there right now.
ReplyDeleteYay yay yay! I use that site all the time! Way to go...
ReplyDeletenext up, plant lust, the musical? I'm ready! Congrats to the three of you.
ReplyDeleteSince only one of us is what you might call outgoing it's hard to imagine. Then again I guess we could hire actors to play our parts...
DeleteAwesome! looking forward to all your pearls of wisdom
ReplyDeleteI am proud to own an official Plant Lust tote bag.
ReplyDeleteI heard one was selling on eBay last week for $50!
Delete(ha, I kid...)
Cool! Looking forward to it! Best of luck! Lust away!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea! I'm not sure what criteria you use to include nurseries, but Taylor Greenhouses in Portland, NY lists a very large number of begonias in addition to many other plants (including several that I've been recommending to people on Facebook and in my own blog): http://taylorgreenhouses.com
ReplyDeleteWe want all the cool nurseries and it sounds like Taylor Greenhouses fits that description, thanks for the tip I will contact them!
DeleteBlog on!
ReplyDeleteYes! I know I'm going to love this!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new gig! I'll add it to my blogroll right now.
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to find the feed for the Plant Lust blog, Loree. Does it have one?
ReplyDeleteOkay lame non tech person attempting to answer your question...I think so? I added us to my blog reader and blog roll (right hand side-bar) simply by using this: http://plantlust.com/blog/ does that not work for you?
DeleteAnother lame non tech person here. No, it didn't work. My feed reader needs a "feed address," or whatever it's called, at the end of the URL in order to find the feed. So I usually grab the URL and add "feeds/posts/default" or just "feed" or "rss" or "atom.xml" at the end, plug that into my Thunderbird feed reader, and I'm good to go. But Thunderbird didn't recognize any of those as working with the Plant Lust blog. I have not idea why. Or even how any of it works.
