This is the cozy, sleepy view out the front windows this morning. The only thing that's keeping me from going back to bed is this cup of hot coffee in my hands.
It really is November. I guess I'll be making a big pot of stew for dinner.
Lauren, well...this is not normally my thing but I found a recipe that uses a lot of carrots, and I have a lot of tiny carrots from the garden to use. It's a beef stew with carrots and mushrooms. It's from Cooking Light so hopefully it's not too bad!
Javelina, oh no! Now your making me want to go out there and see if I can capture the magic. Just when I was getting into the lazy feel of it.
What kind of stew?
ReplyDeleteWow, I miss fog! It makes the garden look so incredible. Great atmosphere for photographs.
ReplyDeleteIs it me, or did you slightly change the background color of your blog? It appears lighter...?

Denise, it's just you. Drink some more coffee.
I would never get out of bed if it weren't for coffee...these views are so pretty especially with the rain.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are starting to get with the fall in Portland program. Fog and stew...add a fire in the fireplace and what could be better?
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cozy! We don't get too much fog around here, bet it is slightly drizzly this morning and it finally looks like rain!
ReplyDeleteYour view is so colourful. Gee, now I am thinking of coffee.
ReplyDeleteDarla, I love it when it starts brewing early in the morning when I'm still in bed but I can smell it!
ReplyDeletericki, funny thing about that fire. See there are so many succulents in front of the fireplace I wouldn't be able to start a fire if I wanted to!
RFG, this morning here couldn't have been more different. Bright and sunny!
Evelyn, I hope that is a good thing!
