Wednesday Vignette, love in a garden

This was a past Valentines Day card from Andrew. Had I been thinking I would have posted it then, on Valentines, instead you get it now. No story written by me to go with, it doesn't really need one. She must be quite the catch, to have six suitors working for her affection.

As you can imagine the personal bits added by Andrew alluded to his assistance in the garden as needed. He has been quite the trouper. I am lucky.

  1. But does Andrew dress up in his Sunday best to work in your garden?!

  2. Which one of these suitors does Andrew consider himself to be? They all look a bit anxious, and it does appear that the tree is being planted with its roots in the air. Andrew would never do that. He's too savvy.

    1. That's a good question! He has been known to dig a large hole or two for me when the rock bar is needed, and he did run the tamper when we put in the patio and needed to compact the sand and gravel layer. But you're right, he would never mistake which end is up when planting a tree!

  3. To Andrew... You have made an amazing choice for the woman you want to spend your life with.
To Loree... You have made a wise choice with Andrew for the same reasons.
Life happens for wonderful reasons, and kind just people belong together.

  4. Keeping them on the string is working out well for her. Wonder how long she can keep it up?

    1. Ah... this is an excellent question! Looks to be quite the large property that she's got to work.

  5. Haha - I love how the tree is planted upside down! I need to learn what that lady knows. I have been completely unable to EVER get the boys - now men - in my life to help in the garden. I wonder how she managed to attract an entire flock? That alone, is impressive!
