  1. As you pointed out once, shadows mean that there's sun. Hooray! Nice composition from your shadowland.

    1. The fog rolled in shortly after this was taken but it was quite sunny for a bit. I soaked it up.

  2. Oh - nice! Love the shadows, and how the sun turned your light into a barbershop pole.

    1. And I'm impressed you knew that was a light!

  3. Nice shadows! I like the mossy mulch under the sticks on fire. I'm going to try that.

    1. It used to be that bright green color of the wreath I made, it's sort of faded to yellow though.

  4. Very observant. Quiet times between/after holidays help me focus on the beauty of simple things--or better described as profound things that frequently go unnoticed. Wonderful vignette!

  5. Love what the sun does to the pole. Looks like you painted it with gold stripes.

    1. I sit write next to that pole when I work. I don't recall ever seeing the sun hit it quite like that.

  6. What a clever play of patterns. The more I looked, the more I saw.

    1. I saw some unfun ones too...

(no, I have no idea what that means. I just thought it was odd for you to say "fun" like that. Not very Evan-like)
