Wednesday Vignette, change is in the air

Below is blue sky vignette from my garden. On the left Cryptomeria japonica 'Rasen' and on the right Eriobotrya japonica. For the longest time I was anti-conifer, but over the years a few have snuck into my garden...

Are you one who loves, and embraces, change? Or one who avoids it as much as possible? I'm a lover – but only if it's change I've initiated. Along those lines I'm making an announcement today over on the plant lust blog: the time has come for me to step away from plant lust. I'm proud of the role I've played in building the company, and will always be a fan – I'm excited to watch it grow, I know many wonderful things are in store...
Wednesday Vignettes are hosted by Anna at Flutter & Hum. All material © 2009-2016 by Loree Bohl for danger garden. Unauthorized reproduction prohibited and just plain rude.

  7. Change is good! It's exciting, fun, challenging, and draining. It is life, as Peter says. Best wishes to you with your new direction, Loree!

I’m sorry to hear that you are leaving Plant Lust. But as long as you keep this blog going I’ll get my fix of humor, knowledge, and great pictures of plants and gardens.
    Thanks, John(Aberdeen)

  10. Wow - that IS a big change, but I'm sure new, great adventures lure on your horizon! (Which I can't wait to hear more about, btw.) I'm starting to embrace conifers too, and that trip to Iseli the other week made me lust for more. A whole new plant chapter to delve in to and build fabulous vignettes with, for sure.

    1. Maybe that's why I haven't made it a priority to visit Iseli? I'm afraid what that visit would do to my already full garden?
