Really, what do an alien and a fried egg have in common?
Well...they, along with a smiling rock spider, a strawberry, and a few other things (?) are all products of the imaginations of my neighbor's kids. I wonder what color the tulip will be?

I love that there's a skillet and fried egg. In 15 years when faux food in the garden is the "big thing", you'll know where it started. :D
ReplyDeleteI too thought that skillet/egg combo was quite fabulous. Do you think that's a green alien egg up above the alien head? Everyone knows you don't cook those in frying pans.
DeleteThey're both things you see when you're stoned?
ReplyDeleteOh Peter...leave it to you!
DeleteKids say (and do) the darndest things.
ReplyDeleteSo cute. The previous owners of our house had little kids, and I found some painted stones in the garden when we moved in. I think they're cool.
ReplyDeleteTulips have lovely foliage. They're hopeless here, unfortunately.

ReplyDeleteHow fun! I never thought of doing stuff like that with my kids. Looking back, I think they probably missed out on a lot of different things that "normal" moms make them do. I think I was just too overwhelmed with the whole parent thing...
Somehow I don't think your kids missed out at all. Normal isn't all it's cracked up to be.
DeleteThe spider may be enjoying the decor, but the ladybug(?) looks a little green in the face. The rock above the alien kind of looks like a googly eye. Maybe the kids have been listening to Christopher Walken's gardening advice.
ReplyDeleteI took the ladybug to be a strawberry, and I like the Christopher Walken idea!
DeleteThey both serve mankind? ("It's a cookbook!")
ReplyDeleteOMG!!!!
