A pick-me up...

Making his "I'm on my way home" call one evening Andrew heard the tone in my voice. The one that says I'm on the brink of a meltdown (it had been a very rough day). He made a quick stop at our neighborhood New Seasons and picked up a small bouquet guaranteed to cheer...

Who can resist the happy face of a Gerbera Daisy? These take it up a notch with the multiple petals characteristic of a Chrysanthemum. The x Fatshedera lizei ‘Annemieke’ foliage in the background are cuttings I'd already stuck in a vase hoping they'd root (one has). Visit the blog Flutter & Hum for more Wednesday Vignettes...

  11. Bringing home flowers is a sure sign of a noble heart...especially when the bouquet is so artistic. I'd be tempted to feign meltdowns regularly.
