A few images of our Halloween decor. Some you've seen before, some is new. The paper decorations are vintage...
Hope you have a scary fun day full of treats, with maybe just a few good tricks.

Love your decor. Your mantel decorations always inspire me to do better. Happy Halloween. Elaine
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you had a good one.
DeleteI love the combos of old and new, paper and plants. We redid all the art in the living room and front hall recently but no Halloween decor this year. We are in the midst of a snowstorm. Making me crazy and it's only October!
ReplyDeleteYa, all that snow kind of takes away the Halloween feel I bet.
DeleteI, too, love your decorations, especiallly the happy cat and the skeleton's teeth. Happy Halloween to you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jane, I loved the photo you shared yesterday of your clear, smoke-free, sky!
DeleteI'm still thinking about looking for decorations. That's not too good, is it.
ReplyDeleteSure it is, you're early for next year!
DeleteWoo hoo...great decorations, Loree. The cat...so quintessentially Halloween. Have fun tonight!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tamara! I don't suppose you guys get many trick or treaters?
DeleteThe black skull chocking on something spiky is spooky! Love the owl and the Art Deco (?) light fixture on the wall.
ReplyDeleteThank you! With the skulls mouth shut it's just so black and hard to see. I thought that spiky seed pod was a good solution. And yep, deco slip-glass. From my days working at a vintage light shop.
DeleteI love the black skull with the seedpod in its mouth. I should put on my thinking cap and come up with a good trick to play on Nigel before he comes home from work.
ReplyDeleteI hope you did!
DeleteBeautifully done - and I love the way you photographed the mantle in partial shadow. Happy Halloween, Loree!
ReplyDeleteThe one benefit of the cold weather we've been having is the sunlight. The lighting seemed appropriately dramatic.
DeleteHappy Halloween! Love your decorations!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good one!
DeleteI like your decorations, esp. the winking cat - have a festive Halloween, Loree!
ReplyDeleteThanks, hope you did as well.
DeleteIt was a dark and stormy night, perfect for the holiday. Glad I got to stay in.
