One morning last week I glanced out our bedroom window. I was rather shocked to see a large winged insect on one of the Schefflera delavayi leaves. There was a just a second or two while my brain struggled to catch up with my eyes.
I was there at just the right time to catch the morning sun on the cut-outs of our gate, the shadows creating a pattern on a leaf. A leaf that was in just the right position to have the insect land on it. Pretty cool!

That is hilarious! I've always loved that gate and now there's another reason to appreciate it ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd to think I almost cut that leaf as it gets in the way of the gate closing!
DeleteSerendipity happens!
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest thing ever!
ReplyDeleteOh, how fun! Great that you were able to see it and capture it in photos. :)
ReplyDeleteFun! Such a great and unique gate.
ReplyDeleteOh, that's great! Perfect timing! I love the snazzy agave silhouetted on the ground as well.
ReplyDeleteThe agave has long been a favorite sunny day sighting, it's so cool!
DeleteNice! Good eye to have caught it.
