When Andrew and I drove by this hellstrip corner I swear I heard my mom say "well, that's different" (and she wouldn't be wrong)...
White rock, pagoda, bridge to nowhere (over nothing), Japanese maple, It's got all the things!

It will be lovely when the Acer gets a bit bigger :)
ReplyDeleteYes that will change everything!
DeleteDon't know whether to laugh or cry.
ReplyDeleteAs Hoov (below) points out it might have been a parent/child project? Either way they get points for having a vision and making it happen.
DeleteWhy not? They are trying... love that!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteHopefully, the maple will thrive and the pagoda will just be a cute accent at its base. However, having grown up in a mid-century modern house with a white rock roof, I hate the rock.
ReplyDeleteA white rook roof!? Now that's really different. Sounds heavy, and hard to keep clean...
DeleteIt might have been a parent-child project, if so, they were trying, which is great. Turning kids on to the world of plants is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteYou are so correct!
DeleteA nod to Japanese gardens.
