Wednesday Vignette, mushrooms and radishes

The first evening of the 2017 Garden Bloggers Fling (last June) we visited Willowsford Farm, "a unique development in northern Virginia that includes a 2,000 acre farm and CSA for the residents... we will be visiting the farm stand and gardens" (excerpt from the Fling itinerary). I didn't take many photos that night, and of those I took the only ones worth sharing are these, of the terribly photogenic mushrooms and radishes.

I know nothing about Royal Trumpet Mushrooms, but these certainly look tasty.

As do the (no name) radishes. Is it time to plant my veggies yet? No, the answer is no... unfortunately... but a girl can dream...

Wednesday Vignettes are hosted by Anna at Flutter & Hum. All material © 2009-2018 by Loree Bohl for danger garden. Unauthorized reproduction prohibited and just plain rude.

  1. Maybe I haven't followed your blog long enough, but I don't seem to remember veggies. Do you plant veggies?

    1. Right? Looking back I wonder how I contained myself. After all I was starving!

  3. Ha! is right. Amazing how sculptural both veggies are. I want a box of those radishes in felt or velvet with silk threads.
