Well, were not quite there yet. But it is February 1st (we made it through January!) and I did get that Spring-like feeling the other day on a very small scale. I was out in the back garden cutting back and cleaning up and I stopped to soak up the light and happen to looked down on this mix of various Sempervivum, Dwarf mondo grass (Ophiopogon japonicus 'Nana’) and London Pride (Saxifraga x urbium 'Aureopunctata').
In that little patch I saw the promise of warmth and the joy of time spent outdoors. Windows open, “working” in the garden…ah yes.
