I hate to think of what incident caused these signs to be printed, aren't these things obvious?

You know they've gotten complaints when you see signs like this. People are idiots.
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine how frustrating it must be at times to work at a nursery. We love them and they like us because we understand what they do and what they are offering us. But as your recent Pinterest item showed, most people haven't clue.

ReplyDeleteI work in a garden center. I've had ladies in open toed high heels complain about water on the cement!
ReplyDeleteNothing beats the guy who watered box plants. I sowed him the boxwood. He said he wanted the ones that grow in perfect cubes, like he's seen an someone's yard. I explained pruning
It's a litigious world - it all started with hot coffee at McDonalds. Warnings for the sleepwalkers. ;)
ReplyDeleteReally? Next, we'll have to post signs at airports. Notice: You've landend in Seattle in February, there'll probably be rain so exterior surfaces may be slick.
ReplyDeleteIt HAS gotten ridiculous. Maybe we need to start certifying basic competence before allowing people to walk outside their own homes.
ReplyDeleteWe have those signs posted at the nursery where I work in Spokane (Loree?). It was a tripping incident where a customer's eyes went one way as the feet went another.

ReplyDeleteBought a pizza pan with dime-sized holes in bottom for crispy crust. Before using, I peeled off large sticker that said, "Warning! Do not use this pan to make gravy."
