Wednesday Vignette, Arizona

I snapped this photo as we were leaving Arcosanti. The opuntia, grasses, rocks, and mountains in the distance — perfectly designed by mother nature, I had to single it out from yesterday's lengthy post. It makes me so very happy...

  1. Beautiful! It reminds me of when I visited Colorado, at the tender age of 13. It was the first time I had ever seen cacti growing wild - I was mesmerized!

  4. The wispy grasses lit by the sun make a great contrast with the solid architecture of the cacti.

  5. Grasses and Opuntia, I'll have to remember this when I start my gravel garden renovation.
