Even the Huntington Garden was once open and airy...

This planting is almost unrecognizable to any of us that have visited the Desert Garden at the Huntington Garden in San Marino, CA. While the specimens are sizable, there is so much open space around them, and the pathway so narrow and defined.

I wish there was a date, a post-mark, something that would help me place the era. I did a few searches but came up empty handed.

Yes, this is another of the post cards from Andrew, I might frame it.

  1. What an amazing find, Loree! Andrew is a master in finding jewels like this.

  2. Now that is a cool find! Someone at the Huntington might be able to tell you. Likely 1930's.

It could be fun to do see a side-by-side with a snap shot of the same location today.
I'm puzzle by the printers... "Bradford, England." No printers closer by?

    1. I wonder if that printer wasn't selected because they were a mass producer of quality post cards?
