Last week Andrew and I visited the Oregon coast, spending four nights in Heceta Beach—which is where you stay when you're visiting Florence, Oregon, but want an ocean view. It was lovely! Photos to come. Our trip home had us (kinda sorta) driving by
Dancing Oaks Nursery so of course we paid a visit. Well, I visited and Andrew waited in the car...
I do love a nursery with a sense of humor. Thier "Jurassic Park" greenhouse has more than just plants in residence....
What did I see? What did I buy? More tomorrow...

You know it's Spring time when hatched baby T-Rex are everywhere.
ReplyDeleteHa! I spit my coffee a little laughing at that one.
DeletePretty darn cute. I wonder what the nursery does when a kid picks up a dinosaur and wants mom to buy it for him/her.
ReplyDeleteThese were tucked in sort of behind containers in a way that only an adult height person could see them. I didn't really think about it at the time, but that's probably why!
DeleteReminds me of my garden when my kids were small. There were always small surprises amidst the plantings.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun!
DeleteHaha - that's fun! I've always wanted a big Triceratops too peer out from some leafy hideout in my garden. Not sure where to find one - I might just have to build one...
ReplyDeleteIf anyone could do it you can Anna!
DeleteMy baby Magnolia came from there. Nice to see the place. Hooray for small independent specialty nurseries!
ReplyDeleteIndeed! More photos over the next two days.
