My friend Denise, mother of one and casual plant enthusiast (we worked together back at my last office job), fell hard for a few less-than hardy plants over the summertime. When the temperatures fell she looked around for a solution and decided to requisition her son's playset.

Clever and imaginative! I almost wish I had a play set...
ReplyDeleteMaybe there's one in your neighborhood that's available for rent?
DeleteI was just looking at Victorian type glass houses on the GI website. This is much more affordable.
ReplyDeleteAnd it serves a purpose in the "off" season.
DeleteBest use of one of those play forts I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteYou mean you don't fancy a trip down the slide every now and then?
DeleteDitto Kris' comments. Best. Use. EVAR.
ReplyDeleteHmmm... makes me wonder how your greenhouse is filling up? Maybe a blog post soon?
DeleteMaaayyyybe. Perhaps a little greenhouse clean up BEFORE photos is in order on my part.
DeleteBrilliant! She got her workout crawling UP the slide with plants in her hand!!! Haha
ReplyDeleteOr maybe she sent the kid in with them?
DeleteI wonder how her son feels about that!
ReplyDeleteI asked her and she said he was okay with it... evidently he's not one to enjoy being outdoors when it's cold.
DeleteWin-win!
DeleteOh, that's great! Super resourceful, and I bet the kid doesn't mind much either. It seems most of those play sets have a very limited shelf life.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteOh, great idea. There are so many creative ways to garden, and it's fun to learn about new ones like this!
ReplyDeleteShe may start a trend!
