Wednesday Vignette, a moody corner

Okay one more from my friend Steve's place. This corner vignette felt so moody...so warm, and so “autumn in Seattle”.

What's the perfect plant for a trio of vintage blue pots? Grafted cactus of course.

I have one of them (the pots), a yellow swirl.

Clearly I need to step up my collecting game.

  1. I love little pots like these, but I never know what to plant in them. This is a nice vignette.

    1. It's tricky with no drainage (usually). Those cheap $2 succulents at HD or Lowes would look great.

  2. The grafted cactus are interesting but I've never been able to warm up to them. They add a nice spot of color to that corner, though.

    1. That table! The stories I could tell you about that table. He got it for a song and it's worth a lot.

    1. Do you guys do much vintage shopping? For some reason I can't picture you talking about it.

  6. It all works together so well. That table is scrumptious & the stories you could tell make it even more special. The Pacific Northwest Bell sign made my day!
