I mention 'Rainbow' because it holds its color year-round, maybe scarlet will too?danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-81394476321193299622023-03-28T09:41:35.433-07:002023-03-28T09:41:35.433-07:00Oh Kris... you can grow so many things in your cli...Oh Kris... you can grow so many things in your climate! But I am NOT going to turn into a conifer collector. Nope. That was a fun ride :-D
I just purchased a scarlet Leucothe. I hope the color stays year round, though I suspect it's a cold weather 'affliction'.
Congrats on your 'Everred'. It's satisfying to find a plant you lusted after for so long. The one I bought last year is less than half the size of yours. I read it's not a profuse bloomer, but with such unusual foliage, one or two flowers will make me happy.
ChavliAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-17926922360564214982023-03-27T11:00:23.349-07:002023-03-27T11:00:23.349-07:00Such interesting plants! That burgundy Leucothoe captivated me too but my Sunset guide makes it clear that's not a genus that would be happy in my garden either.
