Several other people too, one drawing and another (loud) group getting photos taken. It seemed to be well used.danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-14583039140838303262022-05-15T09:06:41.568-07:002022-05-15T09:06:41.568-07:00Thanks for being a long time reader! Thanks for being a long time reader!danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-63945899999696283222022-05-15T09:06:23.142-07:002022-05-15T09:06:23.142-07:00Thanks!Thanks!danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-25309104654863402392022-05-15T09:06:11.412-07:002022-05-15T09:06:11.412-07:00There was a class lecture down in the shady ravine...There was a class lecture down in the shady ravine while I was visiting, oh and also a very loud and annoying family getting photos taken...danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-65815510504117531862022-05-14T07:40:30.235-07:002022-05-14T07:40:30.235-07:00What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours... ...What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours... yes, I burst into song. Those two areas of the Mildred E. Mathias botanical garden are such opposites! Whenever you show magnificent ferns I get excited, the vine fern in particular was so grand. Lovely phymatosorus grossus showing off it's spores! I wanted to take the fallen staghorn fern home with me... nurse it to full recovery.
ChavliAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-59736791417722959272022-05-13T12:42:36.895-07:002022-05-13T12:42:36.895-07:00You must have been really happy to come across the...You must have been really happy to come across the Pyrrosia ;) Healthy specimens too. I wonder how many students stroll through that garden? Every time I've visited it's been nearly deserted. And I have to say that when I was in grad school there, I never visited it, but it was a wonderful place to go when visiting someone in the nearby medical facilities.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-16941099945701306052022-05-13T12:31:47.640-07:002022-05-13T12:31:47.640-07:00Oh ! That looks like a nice place to have a coffee and cake.

I know what you mean about seeing plants growing in the ground that you consider to be pot plants or houseplants. The first time I went to the island of Ibiza I was amazed to see lots of UK houseplants growing happily outside. There was a particularly nice fish restaurant we found and it had a huge Ficus elastica growing outisde and I was gobsmacked, lol!Adam Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07412097861813674660noreply@blogger.com
