Imagine what that means in it's natural environment! I put the Senecio out around the beginning of May, then for no other reason than that's when I finally got around to planting that area. I'm sure it could have been done much earlier. Do you plan to over winter your containers indoors or out? If the rest of the plants are cold hardy then just cut off some Senecio and bring it in. Let the end callus over and then stick it in some soil.
