I'm not a fan of shearing azaleas, but I love the moss, maples, and other plants. Looks like we have another rain system coming in this week, but I think we'll still be close to the record for driest November.Evan Beanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06732413653862912387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-14640065179066245352018-11-24T20:24:56.006-08:002018-11-24T20:24:56.006-08:00Not today, another lovely sunny day, book-ended by...Not today, another lovely sunny day, book-ended by fog.danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-40069731319820588232018-11-24T17:34:36.087-08:002018-11-24T17:34:36.087-08:00What a gorgeous day! I do LOVE the moss...and the water feature is excellent in person, although quite modern.danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-3686441972321875222018-11-23T12:27:15.002-08:002018-11-23T12:27:15.002-08:00Oh gosh, thanks for the tour of the Japanese Garde...Oh gosh, thanks for the tour of the Japanese Garden. Even though I left Portland in 2007 it's been decades since I've been to the Japanese Garden there. And even more thanks for the link to the story about the photo of the Stahl house. The Huntington version is one of my favorite areas there. The out-of-place cement marker looks like some form of memorial but, if that's the case, I like that they didn't post an obtrusive sign advertising the fact. I love that you drew a comparison between the new glass structure in the garden and the iconic LA Case Study House too.Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-40138365423838210392018-11-23T10:50:56.722-08:002018-11-23T10:50:56.722-08:00Looks very Zen/peaceful. The large moss carpet is fabulous as are the no-rose vignettes in the rose garden.
