I had no idea it would get as big as it did over the years. The current owners of the house have reworked that slope bed a few times, but the Erica remains, now in the partial shade of the Madrone I also planted. It’s pretty cool to be able to walk past and check it out even to this day. It’s probably 15 years old - or more!
