Scottsdale: Very well-done design in...Great post! <br /><br />Scottsdale: Very well-done design in every way. I like the use of large rock chunks, including that the LA avoided the horrid (yes) skinned up yuccas and favored something that looks real. The curly silver plant is Candelilla / Euphorbia antisyphilitica, though a bit light-starved? The blue yucca-like plant I'm still stumped on, but I'll go with young Blue Yucca / Yucca rigida.<br /><br />Farm and Ranch Las Cruces: I need to go back. So many non-hardy plants were put there (I have pics of it in 2005-ish), a 20-year freeze took those out (many would have died in much warmer, Sonoran Desert Tucson), and now we're left with a great idea what does so well here on almost neglect...a great lesson. You don't see those too often here, and I'm not sure why they're not more popular because they're technically a native.
