There are some long term Bismarckia survivors in Houston, but a lot of nice sized plants have died in our recent freezes, and Austin runs a few degrees colder and for longer durations. Brahea are hardier and might grow better in your area.decalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00954892935771582721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-86580835010040455682018-12-20T23:48:41.919-08:002018-12-20T23:48:41.919-08:00You probably could grow Cycas panzhihuaensis in a ...You probably could grow Cycas panzhihuaensis in a protected spot in Portland. The staff were so gracious and welcoming to our group, and it's a treasured garden in Austin, although funding from the city has not been what's needed over the past decade. I'm hoping with their new conservancy that future funding will be more in line with what they need for maintenance and the addition of planned new features that will enhance the garden.Pam/Digginghttp://www.penick.net/diggingnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-45500235885099443372018-12-19T07:59:38.310-08:002018-12-19T07:59:38.310-08:00It's a great garden! It's a great garden!danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-78426697502245157062018-12-19T07:59:08.613-08:002018-12-19T07:59:08.613-08:00For sure! For sure!danger gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09227500551609537140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1018965493805276234.post-5901170972524153052018-12-19T07:58:49.974-08:002018-12-19T07:58:49.974-08:00I wonder if these water lilies are lifted for the ...I wonder if these water lilies are lifted for the winter?
