Happy New Year 2017!

Working my way through the hundreds of photos I snapped last October, at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoeniz, AZ, this one stood out. During my visit I was rather captivated by the overall design and the plants, I don't recall paying the slightest attention to the time.

Of course it was 12 o'clock noon but for our purposes here let's think of it as midnight. 2016 is at end and 2017 is about to begin. What are your hopes and desires for the New Year? Let's concentrate on those, shall we? It would be far to easy to get caught up thinking about our fears.

Hopes and desires — may you have many and work towards seeing them come to fruition. Happy New Year!

  2. What a fortuitous photo! I have pretty simple personal hopes for 2017 -- to continue to have good health and to hold my chronic headaches at bay well enough to do some traveling without falling apart. I hope you have a great year!
