    1. Surprisingly I do. And get this...someone commented on my proper plant spacing last weekend! So despite what I've always thought they aren't all crammed in there either!

  2. OMG.......what did you plant???????Is there an update to go with all those empty pots? Was anyone else involved? The real question was anyone hurt in the process?

    1. A little bit of this, and a little bit of that. Update coming soon...I promise! And no only me, and I still have all my fingers and toes...but I will be making an appointment at the Chiropractor.

    1. It's amazing how quickly they add up huh? I was tempted to count, but did not.

    1. And maybe you will someday.

The first time I visited my friend Kate's house her driveway was full, simply full, of plants in 4" and gallon containers. It looked like a nursery! It kind of stresses me out when that many accumulate.

    2. Yeah I am much better about trying to get things in the ground before I buy new stuff. Though I did go out and buy a bunch of Echeverias today. I couldn't help it. They were so cute.

I'm also much better about keeping my empty pots nicely stacked and organized.

    1. I know, I'm a little worried. All though as you might imagine most of them are drought tolerant tough guys, no wimpy ones that will wilt at 85 degrees.

  9. That is such a happy picture. I can't wait to see what everything looks like. I have some piles along the shed that are starting to get like that. And I had told myself I was going to lay off a bit this year. Cheers to you!!!

    1. I usually try to send the containers out weekly in the recycling pick up (we're lucky here that they take them) but since I started stacking them up I decided to just go with it!

    1. It's not work it's gardening! (hey where have I heard that before)...these are most of my spring planting. A few went away with plant exchange plants...a few were cut to shreds getting the plants out, but all in all this is what I've accumulated in the last couple of months. (don't tell anyone but there are still a few more to plant).

    1. I try...but notice I'm holding off showing pics of the plants around the garden until after I've mulched. I don't need all that pumice dandruff on the soil detracting from the plants!

  12. And here I thought you had simply opened a pot recycling station for the neighborhood! LOL! Seems that this is the year of the hoarder/collector/connoisseur. I raise a glass in your honor! Salut!

    1. Sadly if I were welcoming neighborhood additions there wouldn't be too many more.

  13. I just take the trays back to the local nursery and they reuse them...so does Lowes and Home Depot. Can't wait to see photos of what you planted!!!

    1. Isn't this weather amazing? It's been over a week since it rained and there is no rain in the forecast...when do we start to worry? And what's June going to be like? Oh heck never mind that...I'm enjoying it while it's here!

  18. That's what my garden work area looks like. I keep meaning to take them to the nursery for recycling.

  19. divide that pile into three separate piles in three different places of the garden and you've got what I'm dealing with. I'm rushing to get them in the ground before the heat. oops too late!

  20. Do you keep all your containers? I keep some but I plant so many things that I would be up to my arm pits in plastic containers! LOL
