  2. Beautiful! I have been enjoying the spectacular color this fall, and you apparently have an abundance in your neighborhood. I'm thinking the dry summer and early fall has helped intensify color this year. I see you're starting to focus on our faithful winter companion - moss, too. There's more of that to come!

  3. Heather, Chestnuts! At the HPSO Sale they were selling the trees as "Colossal Chestnut" they are beautiful trees, if you have the space and don't mind the litter.

    MulchMaid, I do love moss! I always thought a nice planted rectangle would make the perfect "rug" to step out onto after a shower or bath.

  5. Wonderful photos Loree..We have very little tree color here thus far, but the vineyards have just started to turn, even though they are still picking. I love to visit Oregon in fall, but no dice this year..
