To all of you...

  1. Hi Loree~~ Right back at-cha. I love the naturally grown start treetop. It's turned cold again, hasn't it? This morning the frost made everything white. At least the sun is out and the fog has cleared. [Me no like fog.] I hope your Christmas was stupendous. It's been a joy getting to know you this year.

  2. Hope you had a great day, despite your recent travails. Santa should have been extra kind to you this year!!!

  3. What a lovely image, but I'm wondering what kind of shapely evergreen that is? I hope you had a good Christmas and that Santa brought you plenty of great garden stuff for the future year: you're not gonna be down for long!

  4. Thanks everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with family and friends! This was my first ever Christmas without my parents and at least one of my brothers. I've been so lucky to have spent so many years with them, it just wasn't in the cards this year. I did enjoy a quiet day at home with Andrew and Lila. Oh and a delicious dinner with prosciutto wrapped asparagus, nummy!

Jane the tree is a Araucaria Heterophylla, or Norfolk Island Pine. I took the picture during our visit to the San Francisco Botanical Gardens and as soon as I saw it I knew it would be our Christmas card for 2009.
